Quality Management System in Construction course

In 2015, the Construction Inspector-of-Work Association Malaysia (COWAM), which was led by Wan Hishamruddin, gave me the chance to prepare a module for BEM submission on an introductory course for Inspector-of-Work.

Then, BEM approved the module, and it got 6 CPD hours. Since then, many course sessions have been held, and engineers and architects have been there as well as IOW. Most of the courses were held at COWAM's office in Bangi. After that, they were moved to COWAM's new home in Taman Equine. Also, we got a lot of requests to hold these courses in Penang, Sabah, and Johor.

The course has four main modules: "Introduction to Quality," "ISO 9001," "Quality Management System in Construction," and "Contract Document." All of these modules will help people understand how ISO 9001 and QMS fit together and how they are used in the construction industry.
