With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, I have served across contractor, consultant, and developer organizations, providing a unique end-to-end perspective on project delivery and quality management. Since 2014, my primary focus has been on construction quality, helping organizations achieve compliance, resolve complex quality challenges, and improve operational performance.
Having supported projects of all sizes (from small developments to large-scale mega projects). I am frequently entrusted to lead the resolution of critical quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The lessons learned from these experiences have formed the foundation of the quality management training and professional development programs I design and deliver today.

Involved in the Nusajaya Development Project, Johor, with responsibilities spanning project inception, implementation, handover, and defect liability management. Key responsibilities included conducting feasibility studies and preparing project briefs to support project planning and decision-making. Assisted in the development of project management documentation, including the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Project Safety, Health and Environment Plan (PSHEP), and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) during the project inception stage.
Participated in the preparation and submission of Development Order and Building Plan applications, while liaising with relevant authorities to secure the necessary approvals. Contributed to the tendering process, including contractor evaluation, award recommendations, and project kick-off activities. Assisted the Chief Resident Engineer in overseeing and controlling project implementation to ensure works were executed in accordance with contract requirements, approved specifications, and project objectives. Reviewed and monitored the implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Quality Management System (QMS) on site to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures. Coordinated the issuance and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Memorandums, ensuring timely responses, corrective actions, and resolution of quality-related issues throughout project execution.

Involved in the construction of a 240,000 Population Equivalent (PE) Sewerage Treatment Plant for Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) as part of the Japanese Kajima–Ebara–Nishihara Joint Venture (JV) project team. Responsibilities included preparing and submitting Method Statements for consultant review and approval, coordinating material submissions, and ensuring compliance with approved workmanship standards and installation procedures. Worked closely with project stakeholders to ensure construction activities met contractual, technical, and quality requirements.
Additionally, gained international construction experience through involvement in the construction of the Balaji Institute of Engineering & Technology in Thiruporur, Chennai, India, contributing to project execution and enhancing exposure to diverse construction practices, technical standards, and multicultural working environments.
