Quality Management System Course 2024
The Quality Management System course continued in 2024 with several sessions conducted throughout the year. Based on the training record, there were six sessions organized by ICM Training & Consultant, with a total of 63 participants attending the programme.
The sessions were conducted on 21 January, 8 March, 9 August, 20 September, 15 November, and 7 December 2024. The highest attendance was recorded on 20 September 2024, with 27 participants.
From the feedback received, 37 participants responded to the profile section, consisting of 20 male participants, 54.05%, and 17 female participants, 45.95%. In terms of age range, the majority were from the 25–30 age group, with 13 respondents, 35.14%, followed by 40–50 years old, with 8 respondents, 21.62%, and 30–35 years old, with 7 respondents, 18.92%.
For working level, 36 responses were received. The highest group came from the Executive level, including Engineer or Officer, with 12 respondents, 33.33%. This was followed by Supervisor level, including technician, with 10 respondents, 27.78%, and Non-technical level, including administrative personnel, with 5 respondents, 13.89%. Other participants included those from managerial level, director or company owner level, and other entries.
The evaluation result showed encouraging feedback. Most participants rated the trainer as knowledgeable, the course as interesting, suitable with their daily work, and useful in gaining additional knowledge. For the conclusion section, 36 responses were received. A majority of participants indicated that they would recommend the course to others, with 31 respondents, 86.11%, giving the highest rating. In addition, 23 respondents, 63.89%, gave the highest rating for both the programme rating and improvement of understanding after attending the course.
Overall, the 2024 sessions showed that the Quality Management System course remains relevant and beneficial to a wide range of participants, including engineers, officers, supervisors, technicians, administrative personnel, managers, and company representatives. I sincerely appreciate the support from ICM Training & Consultant and all participants who attended and provided their valuable feedback.
Hopefully, this sharing and training effort will continue to contribute towards better understanding, awareness, and implementation of quality practices in the construction industry.
