Quality Management System Course 2020

2020 is the year when our humanity was tested when COVID-19 hit the world, changing our lives forever. As for me, and especially in the training centre industry, we were most affected by this pandemic because our normal physical programmes will not be able to resume as usual due to the lockdown imposed.

Upon discussion with our regular training organiser, we agreed to conduct sessions in online mode, and I decided to subscribe to the Zoom platform because the free plan will limit the heavy usage, like what we plan to do. We believe that conducting the session online is the most suitable option.

Our first session was on June 13, 2023. Lucky for me, it ran smoothly without any technical errors or glitches throughout the session. Since this is my first time using the Internet, we got participation from 25 participants, which is quite a high number for me.

And the most fascinating thing is that most of our participants are from Borneo. This is quite exciting for me since, by using online sessions, we can get participants from any part of the world.

Six sessions of the QMS programme have been conducted, with a total of 50 participants. The programme has been successful in attracting a diverse range of individuals with various backgrounds and experiences, especially those with construction backgrounds.
